ABOUT CHRIS
Chris is an Australian-trained Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB), Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon based in Canberra and Sydney.
He sub-specialises in complex oncological surgery of the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. Chris' expertise also extends to the full range of surgical conditions related to these systems including benign pathologies such as gallstones, hernias and obesity. He offers endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and minimally invasive approaches, including laparoscopic (keyhole) and robotic surgery.

Chris is a graduate of the prestigious Australian and Aotearoa Hepatic, Pancreatic and Biliary Association Fellowship program, receiving the Padbury Trophy for outstanding performance in the exit examinations. He trained at the highest volume pancreatic centre in Australia, Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and recently became a Clinical Associate Professor with the Australian National University.

Chris is available for both public and private referrals, making every effort to see patients as soon as possible upon referral, and within a week for new cancers. If helpful, he also speaks conversational Mandarin.
